While out exploring a local town I found a strange old antique store. I found myself soon browsing the strange and exotic wares from all over the world and from different time periods.

The shop keep seemed to keep an eye on me but said I could pick up anything that caught my eye. I didn't even notice his reptilian eyes glint with mischievousness.

I found myself drawn to a short sword with a golden guard and pommel. I picked it up with both hands only to feel a burning sensation course through my body. A red cloud of energy burst from the blade while my hands swelled and skin turned to blue scales. I found myself frozen in place and unable to drop the sword as my stature started to shrink away. My feet burst from my shoes into small clawed lizard like feet while horns pushed out of my head. A thick tail soon tore from my pants making my already loose clothes fall away completely.

As quickly as it started it ended as I dropped the sword and quickly looked over my body while a deep voice laughed behind me. I turned to see the shop keeper was now a very large draonborn with wings.

"Looks like I have a new assistant for my shop little kobold. I suggest going in back for some better fitting clothes so you can start to work. Once your first shift is over perhaps we will go to another realm to adventure and you can bring your new sword." He chuckled while I gazed over my smaller reptilian body.
