I have imagined something akin to this in various forms... my "male" existence personified like this, kneeling and crying... and my true self petting him and telling him that he doesn't have to fight anymore... That she will carry his burdens from now on. Similar in ideology, like doppelganger in a mirror, his battle weary form resting beyond the looking glass and his bloodied footprints leading to it... and myself walking away to face the world anew.
