Answering my forty-sixth question! Thank you  amenon for asking!

When she says the "innermost walls", she means it. This tree actually resides within the walls surrounding the King's castle in the center of the city; as in, right next to her would be said castle. Seems like it would be a huge security risk or something for her to be there, but nah.

As for why Akire loves it so much it's because~~~ ...you gonna speak or?

Aki: *Sigh* "I like that tree because I used to visit it all the time when I was young and just kinda hung out around it. Eventually I used magic to climb it and just kind of found it fun to be up there. There, happy?"
Me: "Sure, sure. You know, you can always be more a part of these if you want.."
Aki: "Ehh, I know. But I don't always have something to add unless it's telling you to get better or stick to your schedule. Which, you haven't lately btw."
Me: "I know.. sorry."
Aki: "Better tell those couple of people who follow you that then."
Me: "I think they know.."

The tree itself is special, of course. Upon finding it long ago, it is said that Naraph is the reason the original Sraiks settled there and built around the tree. It was thought that the tree must have something special about it for it to get so large and stand out so much in the forest that was there.
The tree is actually a "special" kind of tree; a special mutation of sorts on the typical trees that grow across Dalorim. Although I couldn't correctly draw it at the time, the tree in the comic that Akire and the scouts fought in front of was supposed to be a tree similar to this. In fact, I had planned that tree that they fought at for a while beforehand (even before I decided they would fight, it was just supposed to be "the giant tree in the forest." But, it is a "special" tree like this one.
The reason these trees grow larger like pictured is because, again, they have a mutation that allows them to sort of save up magic (similarly to a Stone.) However, you can't carry around a tree with you, and there's no "wood" magic, so.. woof.
So in short, "magic" makes this tree larger due to a random mutation.
