I wouldn't mind seeing more myself. I'd loan my character to Jan for an ongoing strip, but there's no way I could afford 20 more commissions.

Thanks, Ray. Getting a reflection in something like a chrome bumper is unavoidable. All we can do is try to minimize the effect. Sometimes I’m so caught up in the composition, I forget about those unflattering reflections.

I'll need to look into that. I've only ever done very limited photo alterations with software: cropping, rotation, simple brightness & contrast, spot fixes, and simple object removal.

Reflections aside, one thing I noticed about ultra-wide angle lenses is that that tend to distort subjects especially to the edges of the photo. This also makes portraits look really unnatural (as the lens must go really near), something that happened to me when someone else used the wrong phone photo mode to photograph me.

One of the things I learned during my brief career as a camera salesman was that, although 50mm was a good general-purpose lens on a 35mm SLR, that 100mm was a better focal length for portraits. The wider angle on phone cameras contributes greatly to making selfies so awful.
