For me, the Crab is a mandatory design in most groups I set up. All energy set up, the sinks to use them, no XLFE to go boom along with great armor? Sign me up.
Problem with the Commando is that there aren't really too many good upgrades for it. Throw some MMLs on it and you could get one mean mech, specially if you gave it some HFF armor.
