I decided to remake the previous 2017 reference sheet of my main gator OC Paul. It definitely started to be a bit too old: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/23456202
His shape is reworked with now better details. I think it'll be a nice and welcome improvement for artists who'll draw him in the future. I didn't reworked on his back
story since I didn't wanted to change it. More and more people start to know him very well so no need to change things that were already established many years
ago. Of course I'll do my best to keep making pictures of him to improve his surrounding universe and backstory (Gator Things pictures series)
Thanks a lot, again, as always, for all your sweet and adorable comments about Mr Paul, I'm also really happy you like this character =)
Working on a new Reference Sheet makes me remind how all started for Mr Paul, as the first time I drew him (back in 2015).
Things changed quite a lot and I never expected people will like him so much! :3 Thanks again for all the warm support!

This updated ref sheet looks phenomenal Aliensymbol! I love all the details in this. I imagine the background story probably answers this, but does the huge tattoo have a significant meaning for Paul or is it a stylish choice? Either way, it looks awesome on him. Keep up the awesome work dude!

Actually the true origin of this Tattoo is a symbol (AlienSymbol) that I put on all my characters to show in a more subtle way that they belongs to me.

Oh that is brilliant! I never would have thought of that as a creative ownership symbol for your characters. I thought for a while that there may have been some backstory to it or maybe the characters just enjoyed how it looked. That's actually pretty cool! You're welcome for the feedback too AlienSymbol. I always love seeing the work you and the others in the community make, and I try to make that known whenever I can.
Aww thanks a lot for the warm feedback about this new ref-sheet. On the previous one there was no shading because some artists don't like to see shading on character since they want to see clearly how the colors are on the body. On this one I managed to create many versions of the same ref-sheet, with shading/ without/NSFW version/SFW one...I put all in a folder and this way artists will be able to choose the ref-sheet they prefer!
Wow, he looks positively delightful. This is one very sweet reference sheet, and I like how some of the pieces show many different parts of his life. He's one very charming dude, and the colors came out brilliantly too. I'm also loving the way you mixxed the shaded ref with some flat colors in there too, it's a damn good sheet. ^W^
