It all started when Dr. Kintobar meet a hedgehog that goes by the name Ace. Ace had trouble controlling his powers no matter what he did and that's when Kintobar came up with a idea to developed a pair of mechanical gloves that can help Ace control his powers. Years later Ace found a Chaos Emerald while traveling with Kintobar and that Emerald caused Ace Powers to go hay-wired and transported him to another dimension. Months went by and that's when he saw a little boy about to be attack by a group of robots. Ace rescued the boy and the boy thank him by inviting him to eat with his friends in a village called Knothole. Afterwords, he meet up with Freedom Fighters and he ask if they seen or heard about a man named Kintobar. Sonic sadly tells him of what happen to Kintobar and that's when Ace decided to join the Freedom Fighter to Honer his memories of Kintobar. Lastly,Rotor amplified the gloves that Kintobar developed so they can work with Chaos Emeralds and grant Ace the ability to transport and it also amplifies his elemental powers.
