This is the translation, since the German text is a poem it lacked a lot of it, as well as some plays with words or neologisms. I'm sorry!

The first three stanzas came out quite well, the last two just didn't fully translate. There's enough there to tell that it's definitely a gorgeous piece of writing, Khisa. I REALLY wish I could speak German so I could read it the way it's supposed to be. I think the third stanza is my favourite, fire comparisons have been a staple of this kind of verse since time immemorial. :)
I like it, even if it didn't translate all the way. Good work, Khisa!

Yes, I know that this is not... well - it just does not translate as well because if I translate it "nicer" or more "even" it changes its meaning, and the other thing is some things cannot be translated at all *sigh* - and I'm the author, I still prefer the meaning over the "being nice or even".
So thank you for your compliment - I know it's flaws ^^""

Well, like we've spoken of before, poetry and song just doesn't translate right. Even the best translations always lose something, and in a poem like this with a lot of conoted meaning, it's going to lose a lot. I think you did a very good job of keeping the meaning intact, and I agree that it's preferable to losing it in the interest of a better 'sounding' piece of writing. :) I like it.
