Ok I guess looking at their backsides isn't the best time to discuss lore, but whatever. See those staves? The ends of them are fixed with the tail crystals of a fallen dragon. Same species as Blanca and Noir, actually. Not sure if the crystals are from some big bad they took down, or if they're from a fallen friend, but just know that the loss of tail crystals on those kinds of dragons is bad news (death usually!).
Marie is the much more experienced of the two and prefers to dress, well... kinda slutty. Curie is still learning magic and dresses more practically, mostly because she can't swap wardrobes magically like Marie (yet).
And yes, before you ask, Marie's magic keeps her tits from flying out of her outfit whenever she moves quickly.
