The Bürgerhospital (civic hospital) is one of Frankfurts largest hospitals and is pretty much next door to my apartment. In the last three years a new wing for the birth station and several new operating theatres was build. On saturday was an open house day to show the new wing to the public.
A bathtub in which women can give birth, a "birthtub" if you will. Appearantly giving birth in water is more calming for the mother and less of a shock for the baby.
