So, something occurred to me recently. In the movie The Princess and the Frog, Tiana was changed into a frog because she kissed Naveen to lift his curse, but because she wasn't a princess, she got turned into a frog instead. But then later in the movie, Charlotte "Lottie" La Bouff kisses Naveen to also try to lift the curse, but because midnight had already struck, Lottie was no longer a princess and it didn't work, yet she didn't get turned into a frog for some reason. According to the rules the movie established, Lottie should have logically gotten turned into a frog as well. So here is my picture of how I think things should have played out in the movie. What do you think of my frog design for Lottie?

Maybe it was just a 'the first non princess to kiss him gets frogged also'. >.> Or, hehe, maybe because she will always be her dads little princess no matter what that protected her. ;3 Or, OH! By then the pendant was destroyed! :D Maybe that kept her from being changed since it was kinda the source for Naveens transformation. But yeah that is a definite gap there in the logic. o.o
Also makes me wonder if they will ever try to make a sequel. ^^; Something involving Naveen's little brother and Lottie perhaps would be rather entertaining.

I kinda think the implication is that the spell effected Tiana because she was lying about being a princess to get an easy out from her financial situation (he promised her money) and Facillier's magic seems to prey on people who look for easy solutions, vs. Lottie at the end was being selfless.
But honestly, that's just looking for an explanation. The movie really doesn't explain itself there. And I'm honestly not sure it needs to.
