So, this is the drawing I mentioned in a recent journal. I think with this one piece alone, I've taken two steps out of my comfort zone: traditional media, and anthro art. This was colored with Prismacolor pencil - which many know by now, have always been a huge weakness. It wasn't until recently, when I said "screw it" and searched everywhere for tutorials. And this is the result. I could still use a lot more practice, but my weakness is now a new strength. So I'm really glad I finally got around to learning how to color with pencils. :)

For something you're not comfortable with, I'm impressed.
Nicely done, and the ambiance is commendable. Very good work/contemplative setting, and it almost makes me think if pastels and charcoal instead of a pencil.
*Sigh* Makes me wish I didn't have arthritis in my hands so I could try drawing again...kinda reeks when you try and use a calligraphy pen and your hand starts to hurt.
