Yes, this is the 5th suit I've personally owned. I have worn several fursuits. However, I have never commissioned a fursuit or had a custom fursuit made before though.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
I absolutely love how it fits, it is very comfortable. The lining on one side of the mouth came undone straight out of the box, but was easily fixed with some hot glue. I believe the lining is a cool-skin balaclava, making the head nice and stay cool for a long period of time.
As for the ventilation, my mouth is lined up to the heads mouth perfectly, but my nose is in foam. I breathe out of my nose the best, so this wasn't the greatest situation for me. Other than that ventilation is very good as long as I am breathing out of my mouth.
Vision is excellent, little to no blind spot. It has a great range of vision, and I can see almost everything in front of me.
The neck at the back is way too short, and you can see my own neck if I look down too much. I have never had this problem on any other suit before.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The head is VERY cute in my opinion, it was exactly what I was looking for, if not better. I had sent them an image of one of their heads that I really liked the look of, and they made him absolutely adorable. He has a simple design, having only 2 colours and 2 dots on his eyes and darker ear tips. I sent the maker a concept art, showing where his markings are and how they look and they matched it perfectly.
Fur is very soft and the darker fur that was used is very "bouncy". The shaving is nice and for the most part even, though there are some parts that could be better.
However, the majority of the markings are glued and not sewn, there are many holes and semi-noticeable areas where the fur is glued together, and some small clumps of glue throughout the head. You can't tell from a distance, but upon getting closer, you can almost tell they're glued. Where it is sewn, it is sewn with white thread, which makes little to no sense to me considering he does not have very light fur colours.
The expression is very cute from the front, the eyes are follow me and are really good. Though, from the side the expression looks a little dead-panned. He has a little smirk, but no smile, I still find it cute.

Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head has.
Luke's character had large, tall ears rather than "cat like" ears. I think Lunar got this feature beyond perfect on him and I am very satisfied with the outcome of his ears. They are semi-floppy and wiggle when I move my head, they can bend and pop back to their original position after.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The handpaws are not lined, so they do have a scratchy feel. Despite that, the sewing seems strong and they fit very nicely.
So far, I have experienced no issues with the paws while wearing them besides them being a little scratchy.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The paws are very cute and the shaving is nice and even. They match the concept art and look perfect for his toony style.
I think it is important to note that the paws are also sewn with white thread. The paws are his darker gray, so the white thread is very noticeable in some of the areas where it is shaved. Otherwise, very nice!

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Overall, I think that everything fits together very nicely. The paw style matches the head style perfectly and the suit really works well together.
Again, there is still an issue with the back of the neck being too short for me, but I eventually plan on adding some extra fur to fix that. The head style is on point for what I expected and blew far past my expectations in terms of really bringing his character to life. But, there is still holes and some glue clumps that I've had to cut out or cover. There are a few places of visible holes exposing foam, but they are hidden by longer fur, so you can't see them unless you look.
Everything fits correctly, I provided my head size and he is comfortable to wear. Snug, not too tight or too loose.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
They contacted me about a trade over Instagram. I had previously spoken to them about commission prices a few years ago.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
They responded in a matter of hours, very quickly.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Excellent customer service. I was treated with respect and like a friend. The communication was clear, and they were willing to make changes to fix anything that I had concern about. No excuses.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I was very satisfied with the completion time. I had initially brought up concern for a convention that I had in upcoming months. They assured me that he would be done before then.
He was supposed to be shipped out a week before he was actually shipped out, so I ended up shipping out my side of the trade first, resulting in them receiving my side before Luke had been shipped out. Tracking was provided, and the package was shipped via USPS. It cleared customs quickly into Canada and arrived a day before expected delivery.


Are you happy with the product you received?
I am very happy with the quality I received. Despite the glued seams, and minor holes, I think that Lunar really brought my character to life in a way beyond my expectations.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I would definitely work with this maker again and recommend them to all of my friends for a first suit. I have to admit, I believe the glued seams and small holes are due to him being entirely furred and completed in one night. However that does not explain the white thread used on a darker coloured suit. This maker was VERY easy to work with and made sure that everything was okay with me before proceeding to work. Usually their work time is over a few months, however due to the fact that my side was already ready to go, I believe he was slightly rushed in order to get him done and shipped out as fast as they could. The maker does have room for improvement, but I very much enjoy their style and the overall quality of their work outside of the things that I have had a complaint about. I plan on commissioning them again when I get the chance, they have a cute style that really brings a character to life and are beyond friendly to work with, as I have stated before.
I have rated this as an "OK" due to the fact that some people would not like glued seams. But, if you are looking for a maker with good prices and a cute style, this would definitely be the one for you! While the seams are glued and some holes are there, I still believe that the overall quality is nice and sturdy.
