Chester Juris, the Demon shadow. Chester looks up to the Daishogun as a foster father who rescued him when his real family, a band of traveling merchants was attacked and killed near the Oen border. In his guise as an adventurer, he has a bright personality, but as he acts out the will of the Daishogun, he is as cold and as cruel as a devil.

He's also a bat, but his wings are bound by magic in order to conceal his identity and as a surprise to his enemies if he gets cornered.
