God Ginrai, the Autobot commander in "Transformers: Superhuman Masterforce." Ginrai is an American truck Driver who gets ahold of a body that was supposed to be used for Optimus Prime's revival, hence the similarity. Man... I loved this show as a kid.
I kinda feel the JP Gen 1 Transformers are somewhat under rated... I rarely see them mentioned if at all in modern TF mythos and even in its multiversal shenanigans.

I'm just here to say that I have an appreciation for this picture, having seen it when first posted and having thought of it as I watched Super-God Masterforce (I got the whole Japanese G1 boxset for Christmas).
I think I like this incarnation better than Prime, honestly. CHOKON GOD FIRE GUTS.
