💙 Luvdisc's heart-shaped body is a symbol of love and romance. It is said that any couple meeting this Pokémon is promised a loving relationship that never ends.
💚 Luvdisc make the branches of Corsola their nests. There is a custom from long ago of giving a Luvdisc as a gift to express one's feelings of love.
Posting it a day late because I had my dearly beloved 
tiaamaito over for a week, and any and all time I have with him by my side is surely precious to the two of us. Just like I saw somewhere else, LDR is not easy, but to be honest, it couldn't be better. I never cease falling in love over and over again for him, despite the mean kilometers that separate us! óvo 💕
This year I wanted to go full overboard with my gift to him! I don't usually have chances of drawing elaborate backgrounds since I need to stick to what people commission me to do, so I wanted to give Tiaa something ultra special AND pretty! This drawing was quite challenging to me because I had to dangerously step outside of my comfort zone to go with my idea.
For you who may be unaware, I'm terrified of the open sea and big, marine animals in general... 6w9
...but I wasn't letting go of drawing our trainersonas surrounded by Luvdiscs just because of that! òAó9
(and those ARE Corsolas but they're too distant to be recognized :'3)
Pokémon underwater fanarts helped a lot for getting references so bless every artist out there who draws these 🙏
Tried a lot of new things with the painting as well, learned several new things and, more importantly: everything was done by hand! No taking shortcuts or "lazy solutions" this time, so I'm really really happy with the outcome. It sure was a lot of work, but Tiaa deserves nothing less than all of my dedication always ♡´･ω･`♡
