Earth Caste, here to help!
Such is Fio'la Lub'grahl Kor'ves (Earth Caste worker, from the Tau Enclaves Sept world of Lub'grahl, nickname 'Faithful Helper')
Long story short: They're played by a friend of mine in the DarkHeresy game we're in. We bent the lore a tad (If the Emperor had a text to speech device setting + Tau enclaves are allowed because they use swords and meele mechas, unlike normal tau) to make it work without the party being offset by fanatic overt xenophobia.
Now there is just casual xenophobia! Hurrah!
Also, despite being earth caste, the rolls have blessed her for shooting. Whenever she's had to shoot someone (but never in practise/dry runs), she's murderised them with her pulse pistol.
She's also 4'5.
