Serenity. The state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.
I've spent way too much time on this, trying to get things to look right. And I thought I'd try to actually, accurately depict the water.
This was previously a WIP sketch, that I posted on Patreon, that a patron generously sponsored me to complete. Without them, this would probably have remained unfinished.

The mat subdued hues of the colors underwater add a nice level of depth both visually and physically. The crisp topographical edge of water on his body where it intersects the boundary of air looks so consistent, its reminds me of a 3D computer model render. Nice work!
Technical details aside. Emotionally I do feel a strong sense of serenity looking at this. That and jealousy lol. How wonderful it must feel to live in such a form.
