Decided for Valentines day this year to go straight to full color and inked image this time. Last year I did just a simple graphite shading rough sketch but seeing as Vivi and Ark have been a thing for 5 years now I decided to draw the two of them cuddling and chilling playing some video games together on the couch. I tried to put in an almost pink glow effect because the two of them are cuddling on the couch playing "Just Shapes and Beats", a fun little music based game my cousin found and got me hooked on the music of. Their playlist is what I listen to when I draw a lot, as its a very awesome collection of electronic and chiptune music.
Hard to believe Ark was first posted 5 years ago tomorrow on Deviant art, even more amazing is seeing how much Vivien and Ark have both evolved since back from their creation. The idea of these two has existed for much longer than their original creation, but it always brings a smile to my face to seeing them be cute together, and just how much they've improved over the years.
