Next up is Princess Twilight Sparkle. :) While she prefers that ponies just call her Twilight, Twilight Sparkle is a real princess. At first, Twilight Sparkle had no interest in making friends, as she felt that her studies were more important. It wasn’t until she was sent to Ponyville by Princess Celestia did Twilight meet her closest friends and learned just how important friendship really was. Twilight still takes he studies seriously, but no longer prioritizes them above all else. Twilight Sparkle has grown in leaps and bounds as a friend and pony, and has not only become an alicorn, but also the Princess of Friendship. Her dedication to her friends and her ability to bring others together embodies the most powerful Element of the Elements of Harmon of all: the Element of Magic.
Trust me, that was the short version of the summary I had planned for Twilight, here. I greatly admire her and her character, and there’s a lot more that I could praise her for. Anyway, Twilight Sparkle wasn’t as difficult to draw as Rarity, however, the digital lining and coloring process was much more difficult. With Twilight, I didn’t draw her cutie mark until I began going over the line art in MS Paint. The tools in MS Paint made it much easier for me to draw her cutie mark than it would have been using a pencil and paper. For the background, I actually drew that entire thing separately. To ensure I could get the lines lined up probably, I drew the background in a separate MS Paint window, then proceeded to cut and past the completed drawings of Twilight Sparkle onto the background.
