They're nice and all but fuck me are they a bugger to try and prepare. I swear I spend more time trying to make these things edible than actually eating them. Best part is, if you mess up and accidentally eat a bit of membrane, it's so bitter it will make your mouth crawl.

It's like red cranberry flavored corn. I like to pop a few in my mouth and crush out the juice using my tongue to press the bits against the roof of my mouth before spitting out the seeds.
I also once hand juiced a pomegranate into a bottle til it was full so I could drink it. Tedious but was worth it
