It was at this moment that James trotted back to the front desk, his gaze fixated on the paper he was holding. He glanced up for a moment, looking at the closed eyes and content expression of his only patron, taking note of the casual toothpick sticking out of the fat feline’s mouth. The deer smirked and rolled his eyes as he began to return to the papers, before pausing, his eyes wide with astonishment.

He slowly turned his head to the once-fit lion, his mouth utterly agape at the sight before him. Vince... Was.... utterly... massive. His flabby dusky stomach stuck out proudly, sloshing heartily with even the slightest twitch the lion made. And worse yet, it was getting larger. “See? I’m perfectly fine...” The lion said, before opening one of his eyes. “Huh?!”
