Also check your roof... I saw an article last year where someone's tracking number said their item was delivered but they couldn't find it. Finally they found it on their roof. The delivery driver apparently tried to throw it through a 2nd story window and it landed on the roof instead.

Another one, the deliver driver stuck it in the top of a garbage can and it was garbage day....

And still another one the driver was caught on security camera pretending to leave the package but putting it back in the truck and claiming it was delivered.

Got to be careful with things too. When I worked at a call center there was a store rep who was getting fired so he ordered 6 high end phones including 2 iPhones on someone's account, totalled like $6000, had them delivered to him.
