a snake
a snake is indebted to no one
they slither out of their mothers
without so much as a thanksss
ready to spit venom at a world
that doesn't owe them anything

Erm. All this was sparked by some happenings some time ago, at a time when I was perhaps a litter more bitter. But I drew this last night because even though things have pretty much healed up, the image still struck a fancy with me. The little poem was from those ancient times though (a bit of a story lies there heh).

See though, clearly he's not a snake. I mean really, who ever heard of a snake with arms.

I like how I bought a new brush pen and then attempted to resist the very nature of it. :\
