I was a Wybie for Halloween, and I made this cat to hang out with me.

He's basically a frame of coathanger wire covered in foam. His eyes are painted paper covered with soda bottle plastic to create the lens effect the cat puppet has in the movie. His mouth, inner ears, eyelids and paw pads are made from fleece while the rest of him is covered in fur. Whiskers are the fiber optic thingies.

Hot glued this sucker together in about three hours, so he's not perfect. I'd like to make another one with a little more detail (like toes!), and a little less hot glue. But that's for another day. Maybe I'll make some of those ugly scottie dogs, too.

For now, though, I'm enjoying the company of Cat. He doesn't talk, though, and pretty much spends his days sitting around the house looking at me like a jerk.
