Absolutely! Hell to photograph though, it always reminds me of how adaptable and sensitive our eyes are when I try to do anything in low light like this. If I had a wish lens it would be something with a ridiculously low f-stop and huge light-gathering capabilities.

Ouch! Did that frost happen while you were taking pictures? Or did you leave it out so the scope's temperature would equalize with ambient and not warp while you were trying to use it?

Half and half. Always have it ouside anyways so it was chilled. Was frosted over when I set it up, cleared it off, then found it all frosted up again. Our air has been very humid lately at around 70% with temperatures dipping back and forth across the line. It was pretty chill that morning though, more so than these days. Just went out this morning and it was positively balmy! I don't bother hoping or wishing because it doesn't do anything but if I did have my druthers of course I'd LOVE to have a serious plunge in temperature overnight with absolutely no wind.
