KT was thinking, why should trick-or-treating be restricted solely to Halloween? (Also, he missed it this year.) So he decided to introduce the practice to the next holiday down the calendar, Thanksgiving. Here's the results of his attempt. Let's watch.

I failed to convey it in the cartoon, but my original idea is that KT is interrupting this guy's Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe panel 1 should have been him sitting down with his extended family, about to take a bite of turkey, when the doorbell rings.
