As the title says, these are some concepts for the comic I'm working on. The lizard is Lord Sa'Rakht of the Kahelir tribe (Kahelir means "The Chosen" in the Sa'Jiir language), that rules over one of the four districts of the slums of Sirath. In his territory the lizard-like Sa'jiir have the superior rank, but other races are also tolerated if they lay low.
In the past Lord Sa'Rakht's attire was different (you can see it on my cover's page), but I decided to give him something a bit more traditional to wear, at least for more formal settings. I'm still undecided about the partial veil he's wearing on his face, we'll see.
The other guy is an Adawan guard of a rich merchant nicknamed "The Ivory man" due to the fact he mainly sells elephant tusks and other similar goods. The city of Sirath is an important commercial hub, so it's not unusual to meet people of all species and nationalities in it. ...of course Shadi is going to break into this merchant's house and rob the place.
By the way, I'm sorry it's taking me a while to post the new pages, but I'm still polishing a few things in the comic (as this sketch proves) and I'm also busy writing down the whole script. I always postponed it, since I had a pretty clear idea of the plot, but I don't want to make any continuity mistakes and decided to tackle the issue.

I don't know man, I really love the half sash. I could see a lot of Sa'Jiir sporting stud like this, particularly females, or men have these, and Sa'Jiir women had full muzzle covering veils, adding a mystical Arabic feel, with the poor having very plain looks, while the wealthy have ornate veils, sashes and jewelry.

Superb detailing, as always! I really like the partial veil! I can see him wearing it when dealing with other species in a formal setting, as sort of a reminder that he is ritually pure or exalted by way of rank. FUNNESS! Ho w the heck is Shadi going to steal an elephant tusk, it's way bigger than she is!
