This is a piece I commissioned from the immensely talented  IncredibleEdibleCalico featuring perhaps my most notable original character, a young shapeshifting sharboy named 'Kade.'

I'll do a full bio later on, but the general gist this is a teen with no real memory of who or what he is, just that he has some pretty abnormal abilities and superhuman qualities...such as the ability to transform into a walkin', talkin' humanoid shark. I've commissioned a good few people to do artwork of this kid, and each artist has done a tremendous job bringing him to life and giving them their own unique spin. I think Calico did a great job here really capturing the personality of Kade in both forms.

At his core, despite being able to transform into a big, maneating shark, Kade's a complete cinnamon bun and a dork of the highest caliber. By his own admission, he's not too booksmart, but he is really good at listening and always tries to learn. He's also deeply kindhearted and selfless, always thinking about others and trying to help anyone he can.

But he's also got a bit of a mischievous and rowdy side. He IS a teenager after all. And he's got an appetite that could put a SUMO wrestler to shame! In his Great White Shark form, he's infinitely stronger, faster and has heightened senses. He can also swallow a full grown adult male whole, two humans is his maximum capacity in fact! But even in this far more imposing and frightful form, he's still the same Kade at heart, and while he has swallowed several bad guys before, he would never digest or kill anyone.

...Granted, he's more than okay not telling his prey that. They tend to squirm more that way, and since they're jerks, they DO deserve a good scare before being spat out and left at the mercy of the police. ;)
