I went through Baby Mine, Mufasa's death, and the alternate ending to Robin Hood without crying. In fact, I have gotten through almost every Disney movie without doing so.

But this scene...

This scene gets me every time. Vastly underappreciated Disney moment.

That scene always makes me cry. Every time.
Just knowing the fact that he and his friend will never see each other again is just truly heartbreaking.

It makes me cry every time too. Because this poor sweet natured fox has endured a lot of hardships in his life and is just left to fend for himself in unfamiliar surroundings with no friends to comfort him. He's also semi domesticated so is used to being pampered and now has lost that. And from the Widow's perspective it's never easy letting go of a pet that's so special to you. But things do pick up for Tod afterwards... still doesn't make it any less hard to watch though.
