That's OK. It's easy to think of making hyenas a gender role swap; much harder to imagine a culture where the males are good-time-Charlie brutes, and the females are stone cold killers with a rigid honor code and an unhealthy disdain for the males bordering on bigotry. The males are treated as second- or even third-class citizens (behind children, even.)
