Magnolia is almost always second to get the ball due to her Corgi-like legs. In this case, Rud got distracted by an errant french fry and Magnoila got in the water first. Rud was pissed (after he munched his fry) and tried to intimidate her into giving up the pigskin early. As we all know, the female is always in charge, and she happlily ignored his complaint all the way back up the beach.
