Destiny Glass is my character in Monsters and Other Childish Things. Her best friend is Mr. Stolas, a giant white raven with too many wings and too many eyes and the ability to pull her into his fluffy darkness to fly her around if need be.
Destiny Glass has a new-age family that decided "Destiny" was a good name for a teenage girl. She goes by Desi, and her classmates have decided that her real name is Bertha and she made up the name Destiny to sound cool and unique.
Mr. Stolas loves to tell people secrets, but his secrets are the kind that give people headaches and nose bleeds. He breaks up into a flock of white ravens with red eyes, and one of them stays on her shoulder to watch over her when he can't be beside her.
