Now I'm gonna say a little piece of her Teenage Backstory that no one asked for:
Also before I start, she is not depressed and she doesn't have any mental disorders. She just sad and knows her reality before she can even see it. Also, SmoothEE Lynx don't develop their third eye until they hit 17. She's 15 in this drawing.
Taylour as teenager obviously goes through the same struggles as your average teen going to high school in 2007. Homework, not sleeping for the exam the very next morning, her swim team etc. The constant struggle was with her sexuality.
"Hah, I'm not gay but I like girls." She would always say. Not knowing that she was fucking gay. There were only a small group of LGBT students who hid it from everyone. She took shelter with them. They were the only people she really acquainted herself with.
She went to a very conservative school; if you were to ever come out as gay might as well shoot both of your feet. Being in a school and household environment like that she did struggle with herself identity and religion.
Taylour wasn't as popular as most of the kids were. Most of them were normal and perfect. They already had an idea where and what they're going to be and do. Taylour had not a clue. She was lost in a world where everyone was already perfect.
She grew up in a Christian home with very loving parents. They wanted the best for her so they tried to shape her the best they could. They wanted her to be a star. But not the kind of star she wanted to be. Of course, Taylour loved her parents anyway.
So most of her time, she tried to get away from reality. Away from the constant shaping and pursuit of perfection. You get tired of that you know?
Video games, TV, food, close friends and eventually she met her best friend ever. Cannabis aka weed. She would smoke everywhere; the bathroom, at school, at the pool deck, the car park, etc. When she was high, she felt as if everything around her wasn't important anymore. Nothing mattered. Being high made her a funnier person, happier, forgetful and slightly dumb.
Her parents who were very observant noticed Taylours odd behaviour and as all parents do, they asked her what was going on. Obviously, Taylour lied and told them it was a phase but in light, it was a revolution that changed her life.
I would continue on but I'm tired.
