URGENT! - NEED NEW COMPUTER - Fundraiser
!!! PRICES ARE BASED ON CANADIAN PRICES! WHICH IS WHY THEY ARE SO HIGH, the minimum for a good gaming/graphic computer is $1000 here if you're lucky. !!
I am desperately looking for one under $1000 that I'll be comfortable buying, but its proving difficult.

While I couldn't seem to get GoFundMe.com to work for me I will take things into my own hands.
So here's what I wrote for the GoFundMe I couldn't make:
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT ME BEGGING!
I'm going to be trying my darn hardest to make whatever sales I can, it's just hard with a dysfunctional computer! My new tablet hasn't come it yet, and even when it does I'm not sure if my computer can handle running it since it can hardly handle opening chrome without breaking.
IF WERE LUCKY IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS/WEEKS I'LL BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY DO COMMISSIONS TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS, but it doesn't look likely seeing as my computer can't do anything.
Hi my name is Stéphane, and I am a digital artist (see my portfolio here )
I am a student planning to go to art college in the future, 2019 has been real rough to me already, with personal problems, my drawing tablet and computer breaking. Due to multiple health issues I am not able to get a standard job, and my only income is through my art.
Sadly due to people issuing refunds and other events, I am even more broke than I was when my computer gave out. It's semi stable and constantly crashes.
I don't know really why my computer broke, it all happened when I was on a spare and was using my computer in the school library when it froze up, I proceeded to restart the computer and it just has been acting dumb since, I didn't have a trigger for this to happen, it just did. I have tried restarting, uninstalling programs and everything to no avail, sometimes it works 'decent' and sometimes it won't even load the desktop when turned on. I'm assuming it's a hardware issue due to the sudden and unexpected nature of it. Wouldn't be the first time this piece of junk had something break inside it. I'm now stuck using internet explore since chrome now refuses to work, some programs work, others don't.
I know the amount may seem dumb for a computer but I want to get one that will actually last me, not a cheapie one that will break within a year like my past computers. My current computer was a piece of trash from the start. I got it second hand in a panic when I broke my first one. The person charged me my old laptop + $100, I was stupid and didn't know better so I did the trade, learning this computer had more problems than I could count. This is why I need such a high amount, since I need to buy a brand new computer, and not a second hand one since I'm scared of this happening again.
I want to get a proper computer with a graphic card good enough to allow me to extend my art career in the future, which is why I'm aiming to get a gaming PC
I understand if my situation seems pity and dumb to some people who may not understand completely why I need a computer. But I hope people will spread and support me to make this happen.
The sooner I get the computer the better, but obviously I will be grateful no matter how long it takes.
Thank you just for taking your time to read this, whether you donate, spread the word, or not!

Why is the main goal $1500 but you want $2000?
_____
Obviously, A new computer is the main goal here. But any extra money I get will be put towards either getting an even better computer, or be put into a sort of savings account to prevent future problems, and events from destroying me so terribly, such as breaking computer/tablet, financial problems (food, bills, etc.) or more. Obviously I'm not expecting to be handed all of this! I am going to try as hard as possible to work for it whether or not my computer wants to cooperate.

Why not get a cheaper computer/a PC
Good question! <3
The main reason is I want a computer I know won't fail me, the prices above are in Canadian, a good graphic computer here can be anywhere from 1k-3k set-back (at least in my area.) I can't get a pc simply due to my lifestyle, I move around too much and need a laptop.

yea that's the point, I want something I know wont fail me. I know it's a long stretch which is obviously why I'm not expecting 2k in donations, so I'm offering my characters up for sale, and it seems I can somewhat draw using my touchpad.
(it seems like a lot since this is actually based on Canadian prices. Which is more than American prices.

As stated in the desc. I am not interested in used, since that's what got me into this problem in the first place, as my current laptop is used and the guy ripped me off saying it was fine but really it was riddled with problems, I also can't use PCs due to my lifestyle of moving around lots.
