I first learned of Dex-Starr only about 2 days ago (I haven't kept up with comics since the '90s) and kinda fell in love with his poor soul, even if the comics he comes from aren't really my fancy. But what struck me the most heart-rending was seeing Dex-Starr's cognizance growing as he weeps for his lost mistress, his thoughts forming words for her. "I find one who hurt you. I kill. I good kitty."

Since he "speaks" in the present tense here's some confusion among fandom over whether he already found and killed his mistress' murderer or has made that his mission yet to accomplish. Something has to fuel his rage if not a mission of vengeance. Perhaps it's the Lantern Corps full bodysuit he gets along with the power ring. Wearing that close-fitting thing looks guaranteed to enrage any cat.
