You would imagine a warlock being frail in cloth robes and hurling eldritch bolts at his enemies. Instead, Ferak charges in with his greatsword that he can summon at his whim to cut his foes down. When a blade isn't enough, he can cast illusions and mind-altering enchantments to tip the scales in his team's favour.
So Ferak entered a DnD campaign and became a warlock under the guise of a normal knight. He keeps it on the DL since magic is strictly forbidden. Doesn't stop him from taking on the image of someone else while doing his off time shenanigans like magically charming unsuspecting nobles and nabbing their coins, among other things.

It would be harder actually. The moment-arm would be what would tire you out. For a 15 lb sword, if the center of gravity is 2.5 feet away from the handle, then that's 37.5 lb*ft of torque to move it around in addition to just lifting it. The torque spec for the oil drain bolt on my car is 30 lb*ft and that is pretty hard to get, although I'm not that strong to begin with. Just imagine that dumbbell on the end of a stick (don't actually try that though, keep your feet injury free!).
Ha, geez, never thought of moving a dumbbell like that. Be careful! Thinking more about it, though, yea, I can see how it isn't a simple tool. I feel like the centre of gravity would have a huge play on it. From what I hear, there's a lot more finesse in its style than what most would believe. Even though it's more than a meter n a half long, there's still a lot of skill needed to move it effectively. Not to say swordsmanship of other styles don't earn their merit, just that Greatswords and others need their own spotlight now n then, too.
Ahhh I really love your work! You often put your characters in these dynamic poses, and vary their outfit choices which really tells a story with your illustrations. I rarely see those traits together with other art on this site. I really feel like I get to know your characters, both their personalities and the universes in which they live.
I mean, nothing wrong with nudity but it seems so may artists never really attempt clothing or armor of any description, or if they do it's only every once in a great while.
Fantastic work!

That means a lot to hear. I do my best to give my guys everything to tell their story with as little as possible. I have a strong belief that you can show one's character through gear and design than through description and dialogue. I'm glad you can see Ferak as someone different from Bleiz or Silver. They all have their own unique personalities and faults and I look forward to showing more of Ferak soon
