Well, there's the 1000 series (which is now infamoua as being the car series that was involved in that terrible accident. They have the 70s orange and brown seats, and they often are, er, fixer-uppers.
The 3000 series is 90s vintage. It has LED signs inside, blue and red seats, more cozy and in much better physical shape.
Metro's wanted to retire their 1000 series for a long time, but never have had the $ to do it.
