Initially, Silence was a childhood attempt to anthropomorphise Chao (specifically the Dark Swimming chao from SA2Battle); and he soon evolved past the point, becoming a main character in my original storyline that fell on its arse. He's always been roughly the same teal colour, and only his background has changed.

Silence is, usually, just that. Quiet and contemplative, he listens intently to any and all conversation before even trying to voice an opinion, usually to great effect. He comes from a race of mammal humanoids that evolved on a particularly watery world, and as such can swim incredibly fast. He is married to Faith, who is carrying his child. He, of all of the Dozen, is the most distant, owing to a terrible past that he doesn't like to talk about. He is card Four, and his special ability is the capability to make any sound, no matter how soft and quiet, into a potent and deadly energy blast.
