Sometimes I wonder just where some of my ideas come from. This popped into my head just as I was falling asleep last week. This is why I keep a note pad and pen by the bed. I'm hoping no one ever asks me the meaning of this painting cause I have no idea An escaped image from my dreamscape, I guess. I broke one of the cardinal rules of composition as you can't see the mere's face but at least I've got that giant whale eye to make the connection with the viewer.
