Salt water does (which, granted, she is drinking.) Pure water does not. Nor does salt by itself.
However, there is salt on your skin, so any water you are in is still a conductor because of the salt on your skin.

I have to admit that it's not like anybody didn't see this coming, but on the other hand those who'se seem my last 6 commissions should already know by now my tastes and themes of choice...so to be frank, you should have seen this coming from page 1. xD

Not trying to say you or mr. beakman is wrong, but how does this account for water shorting out electronics.

The reason we always see water shorting out electronics is because the water that is being used is pretty much always tap water which have enough impurities in it to allow it to be a VERY good conductor.

Pure water, meaning just straight up H2O, no other minerals or such in it, actually does not conduct electricity. So as far as I'm aware if you throw a device into pure water, barring the addition of any impurities following it, the device should still work.

Wait why is anybody discussing science here? A Pokemon person just sucked the electricity out of a generator and grew to be like 50 feet tall...there is no room for science anywhere in that sentence!

So pure water isn't that conductive, hadn't known/remember that from high school. But sea water is just full of impurities right? So this should still give some merit to this comic I hope, didn't think this page would get such a discussion. ^^;

Regardless of the conductive nature of Sea Water. She's guzzling down quite a bit of it anyway, and is sure to swell larger due just to the volume she's sucking up. ^_^ It's why we love things like this from you. ^_^

Oh you'd be surprised on what can cause these kinds of things. I actually had a discussion way back when on the DMFA forums on the scientific impossibility of a Resident Evil Fan Fic due to Thermodynamics.

Why am I not at all surprised to see a huge discussion over water and electricity on this page. Is nobody disgusted at the notion of downing that much seawater? Oh well, plot devices are plot devices.

Don't worry, it's a rare fresh water ocean. Found only on planet pokemon or wherever this is.
