So, I go back in after a few days to color my 2nd attempt at creating a dragonfly. To my dismay one of the wings had been broken but someone was nice enough to glue it back together. No problem as I was going to be painting it any way so the fixed area wouldn't be noticed. The legs I threw away as I realized I had made them backwards. I made them with the belly upwards instead of the belly down. Create, destroy and learn. I still painted it with their acrylic paints.
Since I hadn't been in for a few weeks, due to the snow and ice being on the ramp, I asked to have my dragonfly brought to me to finish at home. I sent a box and when I got it back I took it out and was saddened as one of the other wings was now broken. *deep sigh* I wasn't upset as I was determined to make this dragonfly!
