As the title states this was my second try. When I went into the center another day I found the 1st one broke and it wasn't repairable. So, into the trash of nether worlds it went! So, still using the air drying clay I attempted another sculpture.
Once I finished putting it together I laid it on its back so the wings wouldn't break during drying from gravity. The holes were made to put the legs into later. The clay is still wet. You can see the moisture soaking into the paper towels.
