Meeep! I remember sometimes snakes would wonder through my parents' back yard. >.<

Some big scary ones come through the yard here. That's pretty much my reaction.

Oh, I don't blame ya. My folks used to leave the garden hose laying around in the back, and it was really really long, and green/yellow, so snakes easily blended into it. Freaky thing to see hose moving around.

Oh geez...I was hanging strings of lights outside for a party the other day, and went to wrap them around a bush. Saw a coiled snake sitting a few inches from where my hand was.
First thought was, "how did this get out here?" and I began to reach for it (my grandfather/brother having a rubber snake that looked just like it).

Fortunately I remember that that snake had BROKEN...and as I pulled my hand back, I saw the snake move...
I skipped that bush with the lights ^^;

*faints* That's super scary, glad you remembered the fake one was broken.

well, I'm pretty sure it wasn't a DANGEROUS snake...but still, I would have freaked out if I grabbed it THEN it moved ^^;

I would freak out too, those things are totally uncool with their slithering and sidewinding action O.O

I love snakes. Unfortunately for me they're sort of rare in the city. I actually go looking for them if you can believe it. I can understand being afraid of them though... just as long as you don't kill them.
