Back in Nineteen-ought--sixty-six, I met a shirttail cousin (Mom's aunt's grandson) who I later worked with. The day he visited his grandparents he showed us the swimming pond 'way out back of the farm. He had forgotten about the gratuitous wildlife lesson until I mentioned it in an eMail a few weeks back. And yeah, you know how big those suckers can get in West Virginia!
