Well, it looks like the lure of the crystal was too much for this poor jungle dweller. The crystal was said to have held a mighty power within and the one who controlled it, controlled the deep jungle magicks hidden within the dense trees. Sadly, the crystal's legend was not exactly something of legend. Instead, the crystal was nothing more than a simple trap set up by a rather clever slime creature. It knew people kept coming for the crystal and so, decided to create a trap by making a pit and filling it with itself. Now, it was a matter of time to have someone attempt to retrieve the hovering crystal and with time, such was the case. Now it was a matter of whether it wanted to play and tease the male or perhaps ingest him. Hard to tell. If the crystal meant more playthings, perhaps both could be in order.
