These two are the only drawing that exists of a Castlevania-inspired Dark Fantasy setting that I haven't done much work on. The people that live in that world are called Agni, which is "Lambs" in latin, I believe.
The core religion in the setting is very analogous to Christianity, where there is a creator god who supposedly created the world and everything in it. There are other gods who are ostensibly older, and one in particular that seems to be very goat or sheep like in his depictions. The church shuns these as false, pagan deities.
The Agni run the gambit between looking mostly like sheep and mostly like goats. The superstition is that the more you resemble a goat, the more sinful your heart. This has lead to a lot of prejudice toward these goat-looking Agni.
The initial idea behind the setting was that I wanted there to be magic, but not wizardly magic. All magic is ostensibly divine in origin, and no magic users actually come from The Church. The only people who can cast magic are cultists of those pagan religions. Some of them do their magic for good, others for ill. It came from a desire to have a holy character forced to put up with pagan casters for their usefulness, and eventually maybe question the honesty of the church leaders.
Whew, that's a text dump for a single image, isn't it?
