Lol. I know. The steering wheel on the Fiat is on the correct side. That's the major difference. The Fiat is also worth money. There is a guy down the street from me that owns a Mini Cooper. It misfires and backfires every time he passes by. We keep saying it's farting.

Ironically enough there are several jokes about reliability of FIATs in Germany like FIAT stands for Fehler In Allen Teilen (Failures In All Parts) or for Für Italiener Ausreichende Technik (For Italians Acceptable Technology).

I just sold my 2000 V.W. Beetle last week. My only complaint about how it drove was it didn't seem well adapted to automatic shifting. As soon as you let off the gas, it's like hitting the brakes. That's where you would lose a lot of gas mileage, so I would put it in neutral to coast. The car was reliable but a bit too small for what I need. Bought a nice 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo.
