Fallout 76 isn't a bad game, but it is a bad Fallout game, and that's why it's getting so much hate. That said give the people some credit for trying something they've legitimately never done before because the Dev team behind 76 has NEVER done a Multiplayer game till that game.

They aren't in the demo. They give you 100 of the RMT and every item you could buy for that RMT currency is 25, but you can't get anymore of the currency once you spend it all.

Yes, but sadly it is not BIOWARE. It is what every group has been cut and spliced together and given the name Bioware. The golden age of that developer name is depressingly behind us. We can only hope the final product doesn't die before it has a chance like so many games lately.

Sadly Mass Effect Andromeda died for Anthem to be a possibility. The combat movement feels exactly like Andromeda. But yeah.. this isn't the same Bioware that made the original ME Trilogy.. all cause of EA.

I really hope Bioware pulls off a Bungie and breaks off from that greedy company as soon as possible.

How make Anthem?

Yes because everything has to work flawlessly the first time it's booted up or else it's trash. They got the servers up within a few hours, and they're constantly refining it, before it's release.

1) The Micro Transactions are guaranteed cosmetic only and you don't HAVE to do them if you don't want to because you can purchase them with in-game currency that you earn as you play/do missions.
2) Never play any MMO ever then because that's really all they are... Grindfests.
3) Can't really argue with that, I wouldn't be surprised if the price drops hard within I'd say a month of it being released.

Any good MMO strikes a balance between grind and reward. That balance can't be found til after release, however.

it's a fun game....but the demo has shown problems

frame rate issues....loading times.....audio bugs....repeated crashes

when it works, the game is fun...but I will wait for a sale....Metro Exodus is getting my $60

It has already been confirmed that the Demo build was an un-optimized early build. A reviewer was invited to go play the full game and the machine he was using was barely minnimum specs and it ran FLAWLESSLY, all the issues in the demo are ALPHA/BETA issues that are long gone in the full release.

I really do think the game has a lot of potential.. the combat and the movement feel really good imo. I can see it living alongside Warframe (which I love).

Now if only EA doesn't fuck it up (which I'm sure they will) with their greedy dirty hands... I'm gonna wait until after the game comes out..

when I saw game footage it looked to me like a strange combination of destiny and warframe.

if they are going to put micro transactions (even if purely cosmetic) they should make it free to play, but I'll just wait for the release and see how they do.

Everything is easily fixable, so the only possible way ea could blow this one out completely is with microtransactions, hopes are a little up but after some crashing I went back to warframe

I still haven't quite recovered from Andromeda.. so this.. My heart is breaking for Bioware. They want so much to do their own thing again but they are getting railroaded by those idiots in suits.

The Microtransactions are Cosmetic only. Even then you don't NEED to use real money because you can buy them with IN-GAME money that you earn from doing missions and such.

The question is the amount of grind. If they asking $20 for a simple paintjob they will make sure you have to grind your ass of if you want to get it "free".

What I saw was that the $20 price tag was not for painting at all, it was to buy a full conversion kit (4 pieces) for 1 of 4 frames. Yeah still a bit high, but the thing is you can purchase each piece separate with the in-game currency as you accrue it, making it a much more manageable grind.

Managable is a generous word, in the demo you barely earned 5-6 coins per mission. So you can imagine the insane grind for something that costs at least 1000 or more.

To be fair that's also 5-6 for something that's 25, I imagine the final game would have a comparable drop rate to price, plus we couldn't do over Hard on the Demo, imagine Grandmaster 3's loot versus Hard.

We'll see.

Okay, you like the game. I get it. But I would still wait. Remember COD: they waited until the rewievs come out then turned on the microtransactions and sold a red dot for $1. And we talking about EA now.

Honestly, I just want something I can play with my friends that isn't an old as fuck game (MHW, or MC) or complete Garbo (Destiny 2). So I'm hoping that Anthem is that game, from what I experienced in the Demo it will be, once the optimizations are done.
