Hurr, yes - I was saying to TideKeeper last night that I just SO love that picture of me. Grumpy face is so useful for different things. :P
Yeah, it was crappy to have it done when you only got one bathroom, but it was sorely in need of it. The house we rent was built in 1876 and I think the last time the bathroom got any renovation work was the early 1980s. Multiple leaks over the decades were rotting out the floor.
The bulk of the work was moving things - small house and a LOT of stuff meant moving like 1/3 of the house to give the contractors room to work. Then putting up dog gates and stuff to keep the dog and cat on one side of the house and away from them.

I really enjoyed Pixiefyre's work in this one; I really like Raichu as a pokemon to begin with (and it gets hugely overshadowed by its mascot-status pre-evolution by default) and to see it drawn so adorably is a treat. It's such a fluffy, squishy electric fuzzball~
